Eye Contact

Was traveling not so long ago and discovered that an airport can be filled with people who are not looking at each other. At all. Shoulder-to-shoulder, practically stepping on each other’s heels, and not one soul looking at another.

My theory is that we’re afraid of what would happen. A misunderstanding, most certainly. Aggression, possibly. Threats. The law gets involved.

Because to see someone, really see someone – their fear, their complacency, their boredom, their excitement – that can be a bit much. To see, or to be seen, can be terrifying.

Which is where Eye Contact comes from. A funky danceable thing, about not looking someone in the eyes, dropping 10-22-25. Presave here.
