Not sure if you’ve noticed, but I’ve loosened my release cadence to 8-week intervals. But my song production remains as-is, which means I (usually) will release the best single I have at the time.
So when I looked up and noticed that I had 7 songs – 8 if you count the one I had not quite finished yet (Goon) – I knew it was Time To Release An Album.
When I release an album, I look at the tracks and try to see the common theme – There usually is one. Then I’ll make a track with that theme and wrap it up. Looking at these tracks, I didn’t really notice one. Except that they usually involve talking. So Yeah, Let’s Talk is the name of this one. In which I tell truths, half-truths, lies, and damn lies.

Three of these have already been released – Stepped In Gum, Imma Gonna Call My Lawyer, and Happy Place. The rest range close to the funk/pop /indie line that you’re used to hearing from The Brothers Burn, though I like to think these are my best yet.
