Asking For A Friend

You’ve heard it – might have even said it.  “Asking for a friend” is current speak for “I want to know something but I don’t want you to know I want to know so I am going to lie about it.”  Or something like that.

Great material for a song though, so here we are.  Lyrically, we just ask “What’s the most outlandish thing you can ask about, and pretend someone else wants to know?”  Add a pre-chorus insisting it’s not for you, and the chorus – of course – has our title.
