This one crawled out of the ooze whilest quarantining; perhaps the outpouring of a grumbling, discontented locked-up soul. The opening track – Let’s Go Party With Corrine – sets the stage for the rest of the album, with a “Just Have Fun” perspective that gets increasingly harsh, then busts wide open with the arrival of March 2020.

From there, the tracks cover the emotional swings and fallacies we use to cope – from discontent (Grouse) to faith (Keeping Faith) to unrealistic optimism (Happy To Be Here), up until the last track – Tire Swing – where we’ve accepted the new world we live in, and patiently try to find our groove.
