Couldn’t sit still, really. After all that time mixing and toying and twiddling with knobs during the post-production of “Happy To Be Here”, the brothers knocked out a new single in a day.
There was a pause. The blank track was played back. Again. And again. And –
“You know what that bass line in the chorus sounds like?”
“Some grumpy old man.”
“Surly. Cranky.”
“A Curmudgeon.”
And “Ewwwwwww, that’s IT.”
An hour or so later, and the lyrics were in place. Another couple of hours, and the production was through. Then –
